All of the earlier explorations worked within the limitations of the brick tectonics. The speculative temples are allowed to shed those limitations and image how the original temple framework might transform and mutate under new material limitations. The speculations also start to explore what a change in scale, relationship to the landscape, and inhabitable area transformation might do to a traditional temple. Each of these temples explores a new proposition for what a Pagan temple could be as time marches forward towards 2001 when Nay Pyi Daw is starting construction.
